At the Arizona State University School of Social Work and Arizona Summit Law School, formerly the Phoenix School of Law, Sinema started teaching master’s-level policy and grant-writing courses as an adjunct professor in 2003.

Before switching to the Arizona Democratic Party in 2004, Sinema started her political career with the Arizona Green Party and referred to herself as a “Prada socialist.”

Sinema challenges the cameramen in a video shared on Twitter to “attempt to cut out the peg leg.”

Social media and Google users were perplexed as to what had happened to Sinema’s leg; some even went so far as to inquire as to whether Sinema had a prosthetic leg or had had a limb amputated.

Sinema really had a right foot injury this month while competing in a marathon in Washington state.

According to a spokesman, she was unable to attend the bipartisan dinner for female U.S. senators that Vice President Kamala Harris hosted last week due to a fractured foot.

She was one of only two female senators and the solitary Democrat to miss the meal due to her absence.

Early Life of Kyrsten Sinema

Marilyn (Wiley) and Dan Sinema welcomed Sinema into the world on July 12, 1976, in Tucson, Arizona. Sinema has a younger sister and an elder brother.

Her father worked as a lawyer. When she was a little child, her parents got divorced, and her mother, who was given custody of the kids, remarried.

Sinema relocated to DeFuniak Springs, Florida, a small town in the Panhandle, with her brothers, mother, and stepfather.

The family spent three years living in an abandoned gas station after her stepfather lost his job and the bank seized their home.

According to Sinema, they lived there without a bathroom or electricity for two years.

Sinema was brought up as a Latter-day Saints member. She received her B.A. from Brigham Young University (BYU) in 1995 at the age of 18, having graduated as valedictorian from Walton High School in DeFuniak Springs at the age of 16.

After receiving her degree from BYU, she departed the LDS Church. In 1995, Sinema went back to Arizona.
