American rapper Quavo has gotten into legal problems in the past. Is he arrested again, or are these only rumors?
Quavious Keyate Marshall, or simply Quavo, is a rapper, record producer, and businessman.
He is best known as the co-founder of the former hip-hop group Migos. He is the cousin of co-member Offset and uncle of the late Takeoff.
With Migos, some of his biggest songs have been Bad and Boujee, Stir Fry, MotorSport, Versace, and T-Shirt.
Outside of Migos, Quavo released his debut solo album Quavo Huncho in 2018, which peaked at number 2 on the Billboard 200.
The rapper has also been featured on several chart-topping hits, including Post Malone’s Congratulations and DJ Khaled’s No Brainer and I’m the One.

Is Quavo Arrested? What Did He Do?
No, Quavo is not arrested. TMZ or any other celebrity news outlets have not made such reports.
However, he and his Migos partners have been arrested in the past. On April 18, 2015, authorities stopped the group’s concert at Georgia Southern University and arrested all three members and several members of their entourage.
Quavo was charged with possessing an unspecified narcotic, marijuana, and a firearm. He was taken to jail but released on bond.
He later pleaded no contest to misdemeanor marijuana charges and was given a 12-month sentence. However, the punishment got suspended based on payment of fines.
Although authorities initially questioned all three members, Quavo and Offset were charged and arrested for substance possession and charges of carrying a loaded weapon in a school area.
Where Is Quavo Now?
Quavo is trying to return to everyday life after his nephew and fellow Migos member, Takeoff, was murdered in November. He and the family have been demanding authorities for an answer.
In the early morning of November 1, 2022, Quavo was one of the direct witnesses of the fatal shooting of Takeoff.
Quavo, Takeoff, and about 39 other people had gathered outside a bowling alley in Houston, Texas. After the private Party ended, an altercation occurred, and someone opened Fire.
Although Quavo was not injured, he reportedly fainted and had to be carried to a vehicle. Takeoff was shot in his torso and head, and was pronounced dead on the scene.
In the video footage from the scene, Quavo, who is in an orange shirt, could be seen shouting for someone to get help.
Two other people, 24-year-old Joshua Washington, a business associate of Quavo, and a 23-year-old female, suffered minor injuries during the incident. Arrests are yet to be made.
Quavo Family And Relationship Details
Quavious Keyate Marshall, or Quavo, was born in Athens, Georgia, to his mother, Edna Marshall, and an unnamed Father. Born on April 2, 1991, he is currently 32.
The three members of Migos, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset, grew up together in Gwinnett County, a suburban area around 30 minutes northeast of Atlanta, Georgia.
His mother and other family members, like grandma Mama Huncho, raised the three brothers together.
Quavo attended Berkmar High School and played in the football team, where he was the starting quarterback during the 2009 season. Despite completing the football season for his senior year, he dropped out of school months before graduation.
In 2017, Quavo dated Karrueche Tran, and following his split with her, dated Saweetie in September 2018.
However, in March 2021, Saweetie confirmed via social media that she was no longer in a relationship with Quavo. She also mentioned that Quavo had been unfaithful.
Later that month, a video clip surfaced online showing the pair in a physical altercation that reportedly occurred in 2020.
