Early Life and Education of Stephen A Smith

In the New York City borough of the Bronx, Stephen Anthony Smith was born. He was reared in Queens’ Hollis neighborhood.

Smith is the fifth of a total of six kids. He had an older brother named Basil who passed away in a car accident in 1992, along with four older sisters.

On the side of his father, he also has a half-brother. Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, was the hometown of Smith’s parents. His dad oversaw a hardware shop.
