In August 2015, he returned to mixed martial arts, defeating Song Kenan via TKO. He eventually compiled an 8-0 record, mainly competing in Chinese and Oceanian circuits. 

He won the AFC Middleweight Belt at Australia Fighting Championship 20 by first-round TKO over Melvin Guillard and the Hex Fight Series Middleweight title over Stuart Dare by first-round KO. During this time, he also defeated Melvin Guillard.
