Is Zubin Leaving ESPN With Alan Hahn As His Replacement?

Sadly, it has been some time now since Zubin last appeared in the Keyshawn, JWill and Zubin show.

He succeeded Mike Golic back in August 2020 and became the 6-10 morning show’s anchor.

Zubin Mehenti is a people’s man, and he often talked about his listeners on how they should keep them as they were the foundation of the show.

He also stated how homogeneous the sports-talk radio demographic is. The host also emphasized how there are people who have been hooked on the show since the 1980s.

While Zubin was away, Alan Hahn had been filling in his place. There were reports that Zubin could not take his spot back in the show, which also stated that Alan could be his permanent replacement.

Unfortunately, in the fall of 2020, ESPN Radio’s rating dipped exponentially. That too may have supported the broadcaster’s decision to take such a drastic measure.

The blame doesn’t fall on Mehenti for the dipping of rating as the Covid-19 pandemic affected thousands of listeners and made commuters stay home.

Furthermore, according to The Sun, Mehenti would eventually return to SportsCenter and won’t swap positions with Hahn.

Nevertheless, the official Twitter handle of Keyshawn, JWill & Max made a post about welcoming him back when he is ready.

Zubin Mehenti Career And More

As mentioned above, Zubin became part of ESPN in 2011 where he was engaged in ESPN Radio’s multiple programs.

Then from September 2001 to September 2005, he worked on Central Iowa’s ABC affiliate, where he had multiple tasks, including writing, editing, producing, ******** videos and filing reports.

After that, Zubin worked in Denver at KDVR-TV (Fox) / KWGN-TV (CW) for six years.

Only Zubin Mehenti’s career has been made public, and fans must also be very curious about the host’s personal life.

Looking at his age, many might presume that he is already married and must have also fathered some children.

But regrettably, because of the host’s secretive nature, not much about his family life has been reported.

Nonetheless, wherever Zubin Mehenti is for now, all we can do is wish him good health and hope he will make his appearance soon in the media.
