Following the discovery of a body inside the freezer of a South Philadelphia rowhouse last month, a man has been detained on suspicion of killing his Father.
Around 6:30 am on December 23, Police were called to the 1200 block of Snyder Avenue after a family member discovered a significant amount of blood.
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Police had detained a man accused of killing his Father and hiding the body in a freezer.
On December 23, Thi Dinh, 54, was discovered dead at home in the 1200 block of Snyder Avenue. According to authorities, the man’s son Jack Dinh, 27, is allegedly the man’s suspected killer.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, family members went to the residence at 6:30 am, found a sizable amount of blood, and called the Police.
At the rowhouse, a body was discovered inside a freezer. Thi Dinh, 54, of Northeast Philadelphia, was the victim, and his son, 27-year-old Jack Dinh, of South Philadelphia, was accused of his *****, according to Police on Saturday.
When the body was found, Chief Inspector Scott Small told the media that the victim was face down with a bag over their head and a bloody knife nearby.
The Police did not offer any other information, such as a potential reason. December 23 saw the arrest of Jack Dinh. He is accused of killing someone, having criminal tools, and abusing a corpse.
