Jahvon Quinerly finished his school career at Hudson Catholic Regional High School. Jahvon committed to play college basketball for Arizona on August 8, 2017.
Entering his freshman season, Villanova lost some essential players to the NBA draft after winning the 2018 NCAA tournament.
On April 3, 2019, Quinerly announced that he would transfer from Villanova and committed to Alabama after considering Pittsburgh on June 2, 2019. Likewise, he was named SEC tournament MVP after leading the Alabama team to the title.
