Jalen Derale Wilson has multiple tattoos, including one on his right arm with “FEAR” in bold letters and another on his left with the word “GOD” and a plus sign.

However, he has not shared any details regarding the meanings or significance behind these tattoos.

In addition to the tattoos on his arms, Jalen Derale Wilson also inked his chest, which reads “JAVEN JACE” on the upper side.

He also has various other tatts, including some in Roman numerals and one that appears to be a rose made with red ink.

Meet Jalen Wilson’s Family, Mother Lisa, and Father, Derale Wilson 

Jalen Wilson was born into a basketball-loving family, his Father, Darale Wilson, played college basketball for TCU and professionally in a different country. 

Wilson’s mother, Lisa, played for Seminole State College and Oklahoma City University and was on the Oklahoma State University team.

His parents taught him to play basketball at a very young age, and he realized that he was born with talent as both of his parents were basketball players. 

Lisa and Darale often are present to support their son on his game day, and they have been supporting him since his high school matches. 

Wilson was raised along with his two siblings, Jace and Jevin Wilson. His sibling’s information has not been disclosed.

Jalen Wilson Injury And Health Update 

Jalen Derale Wilson sustained a broken ankle during his second game as a college basketball player on November 8, 2019. 

The injury prevented him from playing for the season, and had surgery. As a result of the injury, he was granted a medical redshirt.

He recovered from the injury and returned on December 8, 2020, in a game against Creighton; he scored 23 points and grabbed ten rebounds.

Wilson fully recovered from his injury and has not faced severe health issues since 2019. 

During his first year, he averaged 11.8 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, which led to him being awarded Big 12 All-Freshman Team honors.
