Jamie Lee Komoroski has been named as the suspected drunk driver whose vehicle crashed into a golf cart carrying a newly wedded couple earlier this month.
The 28 April crash resulted in the death of the 34-year-old bride, Samantha Miller and the groom, Aric Hutchinson, sustained severe injuries.
Jamie Lee Komorosk, 25-year-old, reportedly had a blood alcohol more than three times the legal limit and allegedly drove her car more than twice the speed limit in South Carolina.
The incident has grabbed massive public and media attention. Due to this, Jamie Komoroski has been making several headlines. Her lawyer recently asked not to rush to judgment.

Jamie Lee Komoroski doesn’t appear to be married. There has been no official report about Jamie Lee Komoroski husband.

However, the New York Post reported that Komoroski was born and raised in New Jersey. She recently moved to South Carolina. Likewise, Jamie holds a marketing degree from Coastal Carolina University in 2020.
The alleged drunk driver lived on James Island with two other people and worked as a waiter at Taco Boy, a Mexican restaurant. The restaurant manager described Jamie as having a “good personality for the job.”
Komoroski has already been fired from her job at Taco Boy. Moreover, the suspect reportedly went to North Hunterdon High School and worked at a Flemington diner before enrolling at Coastal Carolina University.
Jamie Lee Komoroski Arrest And Charges
The 25-year-old was arrested for allegedly hitting a golf car carrying a newly-married couple.
Jamie has been charged with one count of reckless homicide and three counts of felony DUI resulting in serious injuries.
Several witnesses claimed that Komoroski continued to say, “I did nothing wrong,” and wanted to go home.
According to reports, Komoroski claimed she was going home when “all of a sudden something hit her.” she didn’t do anything wrong.
The officer smelled alcohol coming from her. Also, they noticed that the suspect was driving opposite her home’s direction.
Despite informing police that she had only consumed two alcoholic beverages that evening, a toxicology analysis revealed that her blood alcohol level was 0.261, three folds over the legal limit (0.08%).
Furthermore, Jamie reportedly refused to do a sobriety test when requested and swayed when asked to stand up.
The Groom Is Suing The Drunk Driver And A Bar
The Groom, Aric Hutchinson, lost his bride on the wedding night. The devastated groom is now suing the alleged drunk driver whose car struck their golf cart.
In addition, the groom is also suing the bar where Komoroski allegedly had a drink before the crash.
Before getting behind the wheel, Komoroski reportedly had drinks at a bar and restaurant near Daniel Island. Affidavits of arrest stated that Komoroski consumed a beer and a shot of tequila.
Afterward, she headed to Folly Island but stopped by three other bars.
