Jason Williams is married to Denika Kristy, a former athlete.
Kristy was a track and field player for the Florida Gators during her youth. She specializes in the javelin throw.
Denika was born in 1977 in Brentwood, Pennsylvania. She has a sister named Janelle.
She tried for the United States Olympics team as a javelin player but missed the cut. After meeting her future husband, Jason, Denisa gave up on her athletics career.
The couple met in 1997 while both were the University of Florida, students. After giving birth to a son, Jaxon, the couple married in 2003.
