Jeff Machado was a talented actor from Portugal. He was born in 1979. At the time of his death, Machado was just 44 years old.
The details about the performer’s family background are unknown. In addition, not much has been revealed about his career.
Sadly, the performer is no more. As mentioned above, his body was found buried deep in the land.
The victim’s dead body was found bound inside a wooden trunk buried nearly two meters deep in concrete in a plot of land on Rua Itueira in Campo Grande, West Zone of Rio.
The authorities located the victim’s body on Monday (22 May 2023). Jeff’s fingerprints were analyzed, which made identification possible.
The family attorney, Jairo Magalhães, confirmed the details. “The body was discovered on Monday at a Campo Grande home,” said the lawyer.
On 23 May 2023, the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro’s expertise confirmed that it was actor Machado’s body. The actor’s lawyer informed his family.
He also disclosed that Jeff Machado’s family is coming to Rio de Janeiro to complete all necessary paperwork so they may transport the body to Santa Catarina.
Police are still unsure of the actor’s cause of death or the potential driving forces behind the murder. The autopsy result is yet to confirm how the 44-year-old lost his life.

Jeff Machado Disappeared In January
Jeff disappeared after leaving home near Campo Grande at the end of January.
But his family found out about his disappearance only after an NGO contacted them because eight dogs were abandoned in his home. Jeff’s family worked on Rede Record’s soap opera Reis.
Jeff Machado’s mother was already wary of recent messages she received from him. She claimed the text messages never appeared to be written by him. She also believed that someone else had sent the message impersonating Jeff.
Jeff Machado Murder Investigation Update
The inquiry into the death of actor Jeff Machado enters a new phase. This time, suspicion is directed against a man who lives in Campo Grande, in Rio’s western region, where the actor’s body was discovered.
Jairo Magalhães, the actor’s family attorney, revealed the details during an interview with Record TV Rio. The attorney said Jeff was seen together with the man around the neighborhood, entering the property a month before he vanished.
What made the man more suspicious is that the police found many similar wooden trunks, in which the actor’s body was found, in the suspect’s house.
