Jesse Ellis Lingard was born in Warrington, Cheshire, England, to his parents, Roy George and Kristy Lingard. Despite their split soon after his birth, Jesse has kept strong relations with both.
His paternal grandparents, Cyril and Isolin George emigrated from the southern Caribbean nation Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. His maternal grandparents are Ken and Pam Lingard.
Roy has stayed close and drills Jesse for pre-season training. Moreover, Jesse is a cousin of England and Everton’s defender Gabby George.
He has two younger siblings 19-year-old brother Jasper and 16-year-old sister Daisy-Boo.
In 2019, Jesse opened up about his struggles helping to care for his two siblings and his daughter because his mother struggled with depression.
