The bestselling author of the well-known devotional book Jesus Calling and other works, Sarah Young, a Presbyterian missionary, passed away at the age of 77. Sarah Young Obituary will be released by his family.

On September 9, a memorial ceremony in Nashville, Tennessee’s Christ Presbyterian Church will be held.

In a news release, HarperCollins Christian Publishing’s president and CEO, Mark Schoenwald, stated that it was “a joy and an honor to have Sarah Young as part of our publishing family.”

Sarah was a remarkable lady who cherished her relationship with God. Her work has had an unmatched global impact, according to Schoenwald, and her thoughts have found a home with individuals from all walks of life.

The senior vice president of HarperCollins’ Children’s and Gift Book Group, Laura Minchew, said that Young “was a dear friend who will be deeply missed.”

She has been battling with Lyme illness since 2009, when she caught it in the US. In-depth medical attention was provided to her in the US for six months. 

Despite months of pricey therapies, Sarah’s health did not greatly improve. She has been identified as having Lyme disease and is experiencing very bad vertigo.

An invasive bacterial illness called Lyme disease is spread to people through tick bites or stings. Severe joint pain, a rash, a headache, a fever, tiredness, and swollen lymph nodes are all potential signs. 

The CDC receives reports of about 30,000 Lyme disease cases each year from only the United States. Another in Sarah Young’s line of religious books, Jesus Today, was influenced by her battles with illness.
