Jeraldine also confirmed that Mel’s death certificate showed he tested negative for Covid-19 infection.

Susan Gregorio was better known by her stage name Ruby Regala. John’s mother passed away due to a brain tumor on 12 January 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, United States.
Her remains were brought to her home in Phillippines a month later. The actress is now buried in St. Peter’s Chapel-Commonwealth, Quezon City.
