However, the Rivers State Government came forward to declare that the claims were false and Jordan was safe and well. The government also said that the audio clip was fake and intended to tarnish the images of Governor Wike.
The Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Chris Finebone, posted a statement on Monday saying the post was the product of those, according to Finebone, who were “wicked people” out to blackmail the governor of Rivers State and damage his reputation.
The statement reads, “a footage went viral online, claiming that Governor Wike “moved about with soldiers, threatening people and influencing voting and collation of votes.”
It is “a lie taken from the abyss of hell,” Mr. Finebone declared. He also urged the public to disregard the clip. But State Commissioner Finebone’s statement seems to have entitled another lie.
Finebone said that Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike neither has a son nor any children in the United States.

Eberechi Wike, formerly Eberechi Suzzette Obuzor, is the wife of Nyesom Wike. Mrs. Wike is a prominent judge at Rivers State High Court of Justice.
