Joseph Kabuleta Wife Rebecca Suubi
In an invite-only and exclusive magnificent ceremony, Joseph Kabuleta wed his longtime partner Rebecca Suubi Kabuleta in July 2017.
They have two kids together. Both of them are devoted adherents of Prophet Elvis Mbonye. His previous five-year marriage, which ended in divorce owing to irreconcilable differences, left him with two children.
Rebecca Ssuubi Kabuleta is a born-again Christian who specializes in lactation, nutritionist, gospel recording artist, and worshipper.
She returned to school and completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management, graduating in 2019 to start various projects.
She started working on her nutrition-related projects using the abilities she had learned via her work experience, official schooling, and informal learning.
Rebecca uses music to serve the Lord. She participated in Girls of Faith and the chapel choir and eventually recorded a small album called “Sounds of Heaven.”
Why Was NEED Party Leader Joseph Kabuleta Arrested
Joseph Kabuleta, the Leader of the opposition National Economic Empowerment Dialogue (NEED) Party, was taken into custody by security personnel on Monday morning. According to reports, Kabuleta was taken hostage by individuals in plain clothes who arrived at his branch offices in Bugolobi, Kampala, at around 1 pm.
The men arrived at the gate in a black drone, according to a source at the office who spoke to ChimpReports. The source claimed that while three others remained in the drone, “two penetrated the gate and snatched him from his office.”
Kabuleta had just completed speaking at his weekly press conference, which had been centred on the recent rise in unrest in the nation. Although the Police had not yet confirmed it, the opposition Party reported that Kabuleta had been “brought to CID Kibuli.”
The arrest comes a few weeks after Mr Kabuleta was asked to appear before the Police to answer questions over remarks he made five months prior that they claim caused division.
On November 4, 2022, Kabuleta was supposed to appear before the Police’s CID Commander at CPS, but he never did.
In the Police summons letter, Kabuleta is charged with making remarks on May 30, 2022, that were tribal. After criticizing the President’s son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, in a Facebook post, he was seized and held at a government torture facility for four days.
The authorities rejected and refuted his account of his experience when he recounted it to the media.
Before he confirmed that the state indeed tortures independent and outspoken opposition voices like Dr Stella Nyanzi, a political activist and feminist, several government critics had already been detained and subjected to torture.
Early Life of Joseph Kabuleta
The ninth of 12 children, Kabuleta was born in Nairobi to Margaret and John Kabuleta. His mother is a Kenyan member of the Kikuyu tribe, while his Father is of the Munyoro tribe from Hoima, Uganda.
Before his family relocated to Hoima, Uganda, where his Father was born, Kabuleta was raised in Rubaga, Kampala.
For his O and A- Level diplomas, he attended Namilyango Junior School and Namilyango College. He enrolled at Mbale Technical College to get a diploma in civil engineering.
He joined The Crusader newspaper as a sports Journalist in 1997 after completing the diploma program, and in 1998 he was promoted to sports editor.
