Baldivino’s wife, Camille Ann Miguel, took her heartbroken feeling on Facebook. She posted a series of heartfelt posts, grieving for her husband’s loss. Miguel wrote in her language:

Unfortunately, the untimely death of the star shocked his family. Baldivino’s wife, kids, and parents are now mourning his loss.
According to his Father, Hilario Baldivino, Jovit died in the hospital after multiple strokes. He was confined at the hospital for six days after stroke complications.
On November 22, he got his first stroke, but it was mild. His family rushed him to a hospital in Batangas. After minor treatment, he was allowed to go home for recovery.
Moreover, Baldivino suffered from yet another stroke on 4 December. The stroke was more serious this time, and he was performing at a Christman Party.
