Justin Burt missing case has still been a topic of interest for people. A family in Bullitt County is on a desperate search for a loved one who vanished. Early in September, 32-year-old Justin Burt vanished. He’s still not in sight.
He weighs 185 pounds and is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall, according to Bullitt County Sheriff Walt Sholar. He has numerous tattoos on his arms. According to Sholar, “he was actually last seen late at night and early in the morning on September 3rd.”
Family members have been utilizing every resource at their disposal to help locate Burt, including T-shirts, social media, and word-of-mouth marketing. Detectives from the Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office are currently involved in the hunt for Burt and the information they need.
“The Burt family submitted a missing persons report to Deputy Joseph Rogers on Saturday, September 5,” Sholar stated.
Burt was last seen leaving his mother’s home on Angelina Road, which is close to East Blue Lick Road, according to family members and sheriff’s detectives.
Police think Burt may be in danger because of what he left behind, but they don’t think he was taken against his will.
Sholar stated, “That’s one of the reasons we have determined he’s in danger—he needs to be taking the medication that has been prescribed to him.”
Sholar added that they were unable to verify rumors that there had been shooting nearby the night Burt vanished.

People believe he is dead because he has been absent for a long period, but no source has corroborated this theory. While his grandparents were still able to attend, his loved ones planned a memorial service for Justin in May.
Nicole Stivers is being held on a $100,000 bail at the Bullitt County Detention Center.
In relation to Burt’s disappearance, Brandon Stivers is wanted on accusations of kidnapping and assault, and the police still haven’t found him. According to police, he is reportedly residing in Portland area recovery housing in Louisville.
The citation states that Stivers admitted to stabbing the person on October 29, in Summit County, Ohio, when she was being held in jail. On Wednesday, she was taken to the Bullitt County Detention Facility.
Meanwhile, in February 2022, Brandon Stivers was taken into custody and accused in relation to the case of kidnapping, first-degree assault, and tampering with physical evidence.
The BCSO reports that Brandon Stivers has been missing since September 2020. Even though both suspects are in custody, the agency stated that they “believe there may be individuals with information regarding the whereabouts of Justin Burt that did not come forward before.”
