The mountaineer climbed the most significant walls of Polish and Slovak summits over roughly 300 different routes in the Tatra Mountains, many of which he did by himself.

Tekieli has also climbed in Alaska, the Caucasus, Norway, and the Alps, including the well-known “Alpine Trilogy” of the northern faces: Eiger, Matterhorn, and Grandes Jorases.

Kacper was pursuing an ambitious goal of climbing all 82 of the Alps’ four-thousand-meter summits while vacationing in Switzerland with his family.

The experienced climber took part in mountaineering as well. In 2016, he participated in an excursion to Shivling, where he and Pawe Karczmarczyk attempted to aid a terminally injured Ukasz Chrzanowski.

Two years ago, Kacper appeared as a guest on TVN24 GO’s “Trying an Approach” show. Additionally, he was recognized for climbing a brand-new route to Snovasskjerdingan in Norway by being nominated for the coveted Piolet d’Or award.

In Switzerland, Kacper perished while on a mountaineering adventure.

The Olympic gold medalist left a heartfelt comment on her husband’s Instagram post. Kacper Tekieli’s accident occurred when he was on a trip to Switzerland to climb another four thousand peaks.

According to a news portal, the Kcper Tekieli accident happened on Wednesday while climbing the Jungfrau in Switzerland.

The climber lost his footing as the avalanche descended. The misfortune occurred in challenging circumstances.

On September 24, 2020, Justyna and Kacper got married. Their son, Hugo, was born on September 2, 2021.

Yesterday’s tragedy was reported to the Swiss emergency services, but bad weather kept them from getting to the area and performing the rescue.

Tekieli’s corpse was discovered today at approximately 7:00 a.m., according to the Polish radio station RMF24, when a chopper managed to fly into the valley. 

The experienced climber held a title as a climbing teacher from the Polish Mountaineering Association.

Kacper ascended every mountain in the Tatra Mountains’ Great Crown in August 2020, breaking the previous record by more than 11 hours.

However, in March 2021, they became the first to finish the Expander’s winter ascent, which had never been done previously, along with Maciej Ciesielski and Piotr Suowski.
