Katelyn Markham missing case has come to an end as her partner John Carter has been indicted on two counts of murder in her death.
Katelyn Markham was an Ohio art student who went missing nearly 12 years ago. She was last seen at her Fairfield apartment on August 13, 2011.
At the time of her disappearance, Markham was just 22 years old. Family members described Katelyn as a light which was warm and showed kindness to others.
Furthermore, Markham’s dead body was discovered at a dump site in Cedar Grove, Indiana, in April 2013. A documentary has also been made on Markham’s death.

Katelyn Markham’s missing case update has come to an end after a long time, as Markham’s fiancé at the time of her death, John Carter, has been arrested and charged.
Katelyn’s Father, Dave Markham, was not surprised by the arrest of John as he said that he had suspected him for a long time. He also said that many people thought the suspect was John.
As said earlier, a documentary has also been made on this topic. In August 2016, on Markham’s 27th birthday, family and friends gathered at a Springdale, Ohio, movie theater to watch the premiere of a documentary named Taken Too Soon: The Katelyn Markham Story.

Katelyn Markham Fiancee John Carter Arrested and Charged
John Carter, the fiancee of Katelyn Markham, was arrested Wednesday. Butler County Prosecutor Mike Gmoser said that Carter was indicted on two counts of murder in Katelyn’s death.
So, Carter now remains in the Butler County Jail. After Markham went missing in 2011, John told ABC News that he had a gut feeling that Markham was still alive.
When Markham’s remains were found, Jonathan Palmerton was arrested for her death on a felony perjury charge. Moreover, Markham’s suspect has been arrested, and it may have got relief to some extent.

What We Know About Katelyn Markham Missing Case?
Katelyn Markham went missing from her Fairfield House in August 2011. Her fiancee Carter reported 911 to say her disappearance, which was treated as a missing person case by Fairfield Police.
Police and volunteers spent months looking for her. Markham left behind her purse, keys and her dog. In 2011, Police and volunteers searched for months to find Katelyn.
In the spring of 2013, Markham’s skeletal remains were discovered in a remote wooded area in Cedar Grove, Ind. Franklin County, Ind. Coroner Wanda Lee said Markham’s demise a homicide. However, the actual cause of death could not be found yet.
After months of investigation, sheriff’s detectives told there was a suspect in the case, but not enough information for prosecution. Michael Strouse and Ellen “Ellie” Weik were also said to be the suspects.
