Kaylin Gillis Was Shot to Death by Man
Kaylin Gillis lost her life at the age of 20 following a recent shooting. Gillis, along with her boyfriend, Blake, and two other friends, were driving in upstate New York looking for a friend’s home.
The friends turned up a private driveway at about 9:30 pm, thinking it might be the location they had been trying to locate. Once they determined that they were at the wrong place, they began to drive away.
At the same time, Kevin Monahan fired two shots from his front porch, and one of the shots hit the vehicle and struck Gillis. When the Emergency services arrived, Gillis was already dead.
The shooter is charged with second-degree murder. As mentioned earlier, this case is linked with Ralph Yarl’s shooting case as the boy was also shot dead by a man as he pulled up to pick up his siblings in the wrong home recently.
