Kevin Love Jersey Retirement: Where is He Going After leaving Cleveland Cavaliers?
The Cleveland Cavaliers intend to honor Kevin Love by retiring his No. 0 jersey in recognition of his contribution to the team.

Kevin Love joined Cavaliers in 2014. They made four consecutive NBA finals appearances from 2015 to 2018 and won the NBA championship in 2016. He was the last member of the team still living in Cleveland.
The star basketball player ranks ninth in points scored and sixth in rebounds in team history. In a statement, Cavaliers President of Basketball Operations Koby Altman remarked on the athlete’s skill and contributions.
Altman wrote, “Love had an outstanding run with the Cavaliers, featuring unforgettable on-court experiences, four NBA Finals appearances, and an NBA Championship in 2016.”
“Over his nine seasons in Northeast Ohio, Kevin displayed the greatest charm and professionalism while representing the team and the city of Cleveland,” the president added.
Altman also said Love embodied everything a franchise wants in a player. Their admiration and gratitude for him will ultimately land his jersey in the rafters of Rocket Mortgage Field House. The team didn’t forget to wish the best for the future.
Following this, the California native became the ninth basketball player to have his number retired by the Cavaliers.
Kevin Love Joined Miami Heat
The 35-year-old basketballer still can make a difference for Miami Heat, which has failed to maintain consistency this season.
Love still reportedly has enough left in the tank to positively impact the club, even though he won’t be able to propel Miami to the top of the East by himself.

The Heat is now ranked seventh in the Eastern Conference. Yet, there is still an opportunity for them to climb the rankings, as they are only half a game behind the Knicks for the sixth slot.
