Mark Leviste, Batangas vice-governor scandal, was viral when he posted an inappropriate video on his Facebook.
Leviste is a Filipino politician popularly known as the Vice Governor of the Batangas province.
The controversial politician was elected in 2004 as a representative of the 4th District as a Member of the Batangas Provincial Board.
He was elected as the Vice Governor of Batangas in 2007 and had been assuming the post since then, re-elected in 2010, 2013, and 2022.
Leviste was born Jose Antonio “Mark” Sermonia Leviste II and studied at La Salle Green Hills, a private Catholic school in Mandaluyong, Metro Manila, Philippines.
He also has a B.Sc. degree from De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, located in Manila, Philippines.

Mark Leviste Scandal: What Did Batangas Vice Governor Do?
Mark Leviste was in the middle scandal a couple of years ago when he posted a stretching video on his Facebook.
In the Facebook Live video, Leviste was seen stretching, only wearing boxers. At one point, while he raised his leg, his private parts peeked from inside the boxer.
The incident caused a shockwave of reactions from the Filipino people. He was soon the subject of numerous trolls and jokes.
Leviste soon deleted the video from his Facebook. However, it was already late as copies of the video soon circulated all over the internet.
The incident went viral for some time and fizzled out. It did not negatively impact Leviste’s career since he was re-elected in 2022.
During the Coronavirus pandemic, Leviste often went on Facebook Like and posted updates about his life.
He tested positive for Covid-19 in August 2020; however, he recovered from the disease.

Jose Antonio “Mark” Sermonia Leviste II was born in Lian, Philippines, on December 25, 1977.
He is a member of the leading PDP–Laban party. He has been associated with the party since 2016.
Before joining PDP–Laban, Leviste was affiliated with a couple of parties in the past. He was a member of the Liberal Party from 2009 to 2016.
Leviste was a KAMPI Party member from 2007 to 2009, and before that, he was associated with the Lakas Party from 2004 to 2006.
