Larry Millete has been accused of the murder of his wife, Maya Millete, who went missing over two years ago.
Maya Millete, a 39-year-old mother of three and a civilian employee of the US Navy, was last seen on 7 January 2021 in Chula Vista, California.
Her spouse, Larry, was taken into police custody in October of the same year. In the begging, Larry provided the public and police with various theories about where his wife could have gone.

48 hours Larry Millete Trial And Verdict: Where Is Maya Millete Husband Now?
Larry Millete is still awaiting trial for the murder of his wife, Maya Millete.
Her body has not been found yet. As mentioned above, Larry was arrested in October 2021. His trial was halted due to his mental health issue in 2022.
The missing woman’s spouse pleaded not guilty to the charges of murder and having an assault weapon. He was denied bail and phone privileges to contact his children.
Larry Millete’s preliminary hearing lasted for two weeks and ended on 25 January 2023, with the judge ruling that there was enough evidence to proceed to trial.
According to The Sun, Larry Millete’s murder trial is set to begin on 14 September 2023. As for the suspect’s whereabouts, he is currently in jail.
Maya Millete Missing Case Details
Maya Millete was last seen at her house in Chula Vista, California, on 7 January 2021.
The missing woman’s husband, Larry Millete, with whom she had been married for 21 years, provided different stories about where she might have gone.
Maya’s sister, Maricris Drouaillet, reported her missing on 9 January. Family and friends printed flyers and spread the news about her disappearance. Maya’s family has been wishing for her safe return since then.
Former criminal defense investigator and attorney Billy Little wanted to help and went to the Millete house on 11 January 2021 to find clues. The attorney said Larry seemed unconcerned about Maya’s disappearance.
However, Larry expressed his hope in interviews and requested his wife return home.
An Extensive Search
Two weeks after the woman went missing, the Chula Vista Police Department issued a search warrant for the Millete’s home.
The authorities aimed to discover evidence that would lead to finding Maya. They seized guns from the house. It has been over two years. But there is no trace of Maya.
On 5 February 2021, the CVPD and Maya’s family held a press conference to appeal for aid in locating her. Additionally, they published biweekly updates on their research and search activities.
Mount San Miguel Park, where Maya enjoyed hiking, and huge desert areas east of Chula Vista, close to the Arizona border, were among the many places the CVPD looked.
They deployed dogs, helicopters, and drones to assist with the search.
Numerous searches for Maya were also organized by family, friends, coworkers, and volunteers in different places.
Despite extensive searching, there is no sign of Maya Millete or her body. The police and her relatives believe her to be dead.
