After visiting a bar in Morden and taking in a Winter Wonderland exhibit in the West End, the pals accepted Hilton’s offer to drive them home in his mother’s car.
The Old Bailey heard that Hilton, who resided in Tadworth, Surrey, in a caravan park, was driving while intoxicated and had five passengers in the car.
According to prosecutor Harry Garside, Hilton’s passengers informed him that a Police car was following them and signaling him to halt by turning on its blue lights.
Instead, he rushed off so quickly that one group member hit his head on the car’s roof.

Sadly, Lillie died from her injuries three days after being taken to the hospital. Delia, a close friend of hers, sustained severe injuries that required major surgery, including fractured bones in her back.
She now experiences panic attacks, her mental health is failing, and she was sequestered in one room for several months, requiring daily assistance with mobility.
Another passenger, Callum Smith, suffered a head wound, shattered bones, and two punctured lungs. Jack Watson, Lillie’s boyfriend, also sustained significant injuries, including a leak to the brain and a punctured lung.
Debbie stated to the court that she spent every day in Lillie’s memorial garden after her daughter passed away because she could not work after Lillie’s death.
According to police investigations, Hilton had been drinking because a blood sample showed a level between 105 and 215 milligrams of alcohol per 100 milliliters, although the permitted limit is 80 milligrams.
He was detained and charged in January 2022 and later entered pleas of guilty to charges including failing to stop, driving under the influence of alcohol, three counts of causing serious harm while operating a motor vehicle, and causing death by hazardous driving.
In 2018, Hilton appeared in court on 11 occasions for 26 offenses, including stealing and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
He received a 10-week sentence for possession with the intent to supply in 2019.
