Madi Skinner Career Details
Growing up in Katy, Texas, Madisen went to Faith West Academy. During her days at the high school, she was a member of PrepVollyball’s Top 50 Juniors list.
Moreover, the high school volleyball team won the 2019 Girls Junior National championship.
The young athlete played for two years for the University of Kentucky. She announced her transfer via an Instagram post. She wrote, “honored to have had the chance to wear blue for the past two years.”
The outside hitter didn’t forget to thank Kentucky Volleyball, her amazing teammates, and BBN for all the love and support she received over her time with them.
. During her time at Kentucky, she earned AVCA Honorable mention All-American twice and All-SEC selection twice.
In her last season with Kentucky, the outside hitter averaged a team-best 3.78 kills per set average and a .282 hitting percentage. In addition, she contributed 1.21 digs and 0.48 blocks on defense per set.
Skinner had a significant role in Kentucky’s national championship as a freshman. In the NCAA tournament, Skinner averaged 3.1 kills per set. Additionally, Madi had a season-high 19 kills in the National Championship match against Texas.
