Malcolm X was an American Muslim minister who was a human rights activist. Further, he was a prominent figure during the civil rights movement. 

Further, Malcolm also functioned as the spokesperson for the Nation of Islam until 1964 and was a vocal advocate for Black empowerment and promoting Islam within the Black community.

In his early ministry career, Malcolm was named assistant minister of the Nation’s Temple Number One in Detroit and established Boston’s Temple Number 11. 

The former American Muslim minister successfully recruited members in favor of the Nation of Islam and established temples in Springfield, Massachusetts. 

Along with his work and leadership, he also had an attractive physical appearance, as Malcolm was 6 feet 3 inches tall. 

Malcolm X Murder: Who Killed Him?

Malcolm X was killed at the Audubon Ballroom on February 21, 1965. Three men were sentenced and imprisoned in connection with his murder.

One of them named, Muhammad A. Aziz, then 83, and the late Khalil Islam were wrongfully condemned.

Likewise, the third person, Mujahid Abdul Halim, confessed his involvement in the murder; however, he revealed that the two other Aziz and Islam were innocent, and neither was involved in the shooting case. 

Malcolm was brought down with multiple gunshots. He was pronounced dead with 21 shots in his chest.

On the murder day, Malcolm was readying to address the OAAU in Manhattan’s Audubon Ballroom when someone in the crowd shouted, “Nigger! Get your hand out of my pocket.

As Malcolm and his bodyguard tried to quiet the disruption, a man ran towards him and shot Malcolm’s chest. Similarly, two other men assessed the stage shooting.

Later it was suspected that the shooters were members of the Nation of Islam’s Newark, New Jersey, mosque: William 25X, aka William Bradley, who fired the shotgun; Leon Davis; and Thomas Hayer. 

The crowd beat one gunman, a member of the Nation of Islam, Thomas, before police arrived. And three of them were convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.

Daughter Ilyasah Shabazz Sue CIA and FBI For Wrongful Death

Malcolm X’s murder case has once again taken the media coverage as the daughter of Malcolm X has filed notices that she intends to sue the FBI, the CIA, the New York City Police and others regarding the death of Malcolm. 

Similarly, Ilyasah Shabazz blamed and charged New York government agencies and various federal agencies for not giving their full attention to the case.

She also mentioned that they were trying to hide the evidence that they”conspired to and executed their plan to assassinate Malcolm X.”

Malcolm’s daughter added that, over these many years, they have been fighting for his assassination and have been hoping to find the truth to come to light related to his murder. 

Regarding the case, the New York Police Department stated they wouldn’t be commenting on the pending case. Similarly, the FBI and the CIA also ignored requests for comment.

Who Was Malcolm X?

Malcolm X was American Muslim Primeminister, shown as born on May 19, 1925, and was killed on February 21, 1965, at 49. 

He was a great spokesperson who supported Muslims and built multiple temples. He rose to fame as an African-American Muslim group that united Black separatism, where he spent over a decade.
