A birthday party mass shooting in Dadeville, Alabama, killed four and injured several teenagers. Marsiah Emmanuel Collins was one of the victims who lost their lives in the Saturday night massacre.
Other victims are 23-year-old Corbin Dahmontrey Holston from Dadeville, Alabama, 18-year-old Philstavious Dowdell from Camp Hill, and 17-year-old Shaunkivia (KeKe) Nicole Smith, a senior at Dadeville High School.
The tragic incident has left the Dadeville community tormented by shock and grief. Authorities said they had strong leads in the case. Even so, no suspect has been arrested so far. In addition, the motive behind the violence remains a mystery.

Marsiah Emmanuel Collins, 19, Shot To Death In Dadeville Shooting- Meet His Parents
Marsiah Emmanuel Collins, a 19-year-old from Opelika, Alabama, was robbed of his life in a mass shooting that occurred during a “Sweet 16” birthday party in Dadeville on Saturday.
The Collins family is mourning his unexpected and untimely demise.
Marsiah Collins’ father, Martin Collins, said he was an aspiring musician – who was looking forward to attending Louisiana State University in the coming fall.
His dad further disclosed that Marsiah was accepted to LSU last fall semester. However, the young guy decided to take a year off of school to pursue his music career and to spend time with his mother and sisters (family).
The heartbroken father also said that his beloved son enjoyed playing football and was a former defensive end on the Opelika High School’s men’s football team.
Martin Collins reportedly made arrangements last week to have Marsiah relocate in the coming fall.

Marsiah Emmanuel Collins’ father, Martin, described him as a funny, charismatic kid who loved to light up a room.
The devastated dad revealed that the victim had a lot of personalities of his paternal grandmother. In addition to that, the 19-year-old aspiring musician was a great big brother to his sisters.
Martin Collins – pursuing a law degree at Louisiana State University – learned that his son was one of the massacre victims on Sunday morning.
Devastated father said he didn’t sleep from Saturday night for a few days. “I simply couldn’t believe it. It’s still hard for me to believe. I can’t accept it,” said the heartbroken dad.
Martin disclosed that his son was raised in a two-parent household. Martin – who graduated from Samford University – served in the Marine Corps in Iraq.
The grieving dad said everything he has done in his life was to show his son it can be done and give him a positive role model to follow.
Marsiah’s dad continued a tweet trying to make him a thug because he was recording a music video with a gun. According to Martin, the gun was fake, and people are trying to narrate that Marsiah was responsible for his own death.
With a few days gone by without any trace of the suspect, the victim’s family can’t help but wonder who is responsible and the motive behind the mass shooting.
Marsiah Emmanuel Collins And Philstavious Dowdell Were Best Friends
It has been revealed that the two victims, Marsiah Emmanuel Collins and Philstavious Dowdell, were friends.
Dowdell was a senior at Dadeville High School from Camp Hill, Alabama. Philstavious had committed to Jacksonville State University after getting a football scholarship.
They were all celebrating Dowdell’s sister’s birthday party.
