Rebecca and David Fillipowski are Matt Filipowski’s mother and Father, respectively. The Harvard Crimson official was born on 7 November 2003, along with his twin brother, Kyle Filipowski.
He has two more brothers – Daniel and Taylor Filipowski.

As mentioned above, Matt Filipowski has a twin brother, Kyle Filiposwki. Kyle is also a promising American college basketball player for the Duke Blue Devils of the ACC (Atlantic Coast Conference).
Matt’s twin brother was one of the top players in the 2022 class and a five-star recruit in general. The Harvard Crimson center’s sibling went to Slate Hill, New York’s Minisink Valley High School.
After finishing his first year, Duke Blue Devils student athlete changed schools and attended Fordham Preparatory School in the Bronx. Furthermore, Kyle transferred to Wilbraham & Monson Academy in Wilbraham, Massachusetts, for his second year.
Matt Filipowski’s brother won Massachusetts’ Gatorade Basketball Player of the Year award in 2021.  As a fifth-year player, he was ineligible to participate in the 2022 McDonald’s All-American Boys Game.
Matt Filipowski Career Highlights
After graduating high school, Matt spent one year at Fordham Preparatory School in New York. He earned all-NEPSAC honors in the 2021-222 season.
The 20-year-old basketball player led his high school team to the Elite 8 of the National Prep Tournament and the 2020 NEPSAC AA championship.
Throughout his high school career, Matt scored 1,000 points. He played for New York Renaissance on the club circuit between 2019 and 21.
Besides basketball, Matt played tennis in 2022 and served as the goalkeeper for the Wilbraham and Monson water polo team in 2019 and 2020.
Filipowski climbed to the top of his class and won the 2019–20 school year’s Algebra 2 Honors Award. The young athlete landed on the highest Honor Roll from 2019 to 2021.
