During a live broadcast organized by psychologist Laurent Karila, Matthieu Delormeau shared updates about his life since leaving “Touche pas à mon poste.”

He also revealed his diagnosis after undergoing two years of therapy, which has recently led to his name trending under the topic “Matthieu Delormeau Accident.”

On May 12, the well-known columnist of “Touche pas à mon poste” decided to depart from the show hosted by Cyril Hanouna.

However, since leaving, he has faced challenges in finding a new job in the media industry.

In a live session on Laurent Karila’s Instagram page, he expressed concern about the lack of demand from TV channels despite being liked by the public.

Job interviews have resulted in repeated refusals due to being perceived as “divisive” and “at risk.”

Delormeau’s emotional struggles have been known to his fans, and he has sought support from a psychologist for several years.

After two years of therapy, he was diagnosed as hypersensitive, leading to constant anxiety caused by an overflow of emotions.

He tends to take things very seriously, evident in his reaction to the recent rejection by a television channel, which he described as “ten days of great diva.”

Recently, Matthieu Delormeau has not met any accident and is not battling any injury. 

As mentioned earlier, the TV presenter had faced several emotional bouts, prompting him to take the help of a therapist.

In 2023, Matthieu Delormeau’s physical health is in good condition; however, in 2018, he experienced a tragic scooter accident.

Back then, on Wednesday, April 11, he became the victim of a severe scooter accident after leaving the set of the show presented by Cyril Hanouna.

Following the incident, a medical team cared for him and spent the night at a Parisian hospital, Ambroise Paré.

To reassure his fans, the columnist shared a photo of himself in bed the next morning, explaining his injuries, including stitches, burns, and bruises.

Delormeau expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who came to his aid during the scooter accident.

He took this chance to caution fellow scooter riders about the importance of extra precautions.

He even advised against using scooters altogether, stressing the unpredictable nature of life. Lastly, he conveyed his warmest regards to his followers.

Matthieu was born in Paris’s 14th arrondissement and is the son of Jean-Hugues Delormeau, a lawyer at the Paris Bar and managing partner of a firm in the city.

Unfortunately, he lost his mother when he was just nine years old. His parents divorced after his mother’s passing, and his father married Caroline de Sars.

Matthieu has an older sister named Julie, who works as the legal director of TF1, and a younger brother named Guillaume, a guitarist.
