Arden Cho has a very close relationship with her brother Jason, who was born on October 16th.
Having grown up together in Texas, Arden formed a tight, lifelong bond with Jason.
As siblings only two years apart, they were constant companions and supporters for each other.
Jason graduated college with a degree in film studies and screenwriting, pursuing his creative passions just as his sister Arden pursued acting.

Arden Cho Family Background
Arden Cho was born in Amarillo, Texas, to Korean-American parents, and she spent her childhood in San Antonio and Plano, places where there weren’t many other Asian Americans around.
As a result, she often felt isolated and out of place growing up.
Tragically, she was severely bullied as a child for her ethnicity. On two occasions, the bullying escalated to physical assaults so severe that Cho had to be hospitalised.
Later, Cho attended high school in Apple Valley, Minnesota, where she continued to stand out as one of very few non-white students.
After graduation, she enrolled at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with aspirations of becoming a lawyer.
It was there that she first discovered acting by taking some drama classes. She also found community by getting involved with the Asian American Association on campus.
This was the first time Cho had been immersed in Asian American culture. She graduated in 2007 with a psychology degree.
After college, Cho went on a medical missionary trip to Kenya over the summer. She identifies as a Christian.
An interesting side note is that Cho has a black belt in taekwondo. She grew up training with her father, who is a grandmaster in martial arts.
In April 2021, during a time of increased anti-Asian hate crimes related to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cho herself was the victim of a racist attack while walking her dog.
A man shouted slurs at her and threatened to kill her. When he approached her, she picked up her dog and fled.
She later said this incident stirred up traumatic memories of being bullied as a child for her race.
