ABC27 News meteorologist Adis Juklo had his last at the station this weekend.
On 15 April, Juklo announced his departure through Twitter. He said, “My time in Harrisburg is coming to an end.”
The weather forecaster also revealed his new job in the same tweet. Adis wrote, “Starting in early May, I will be a full-time member of WPXI’s weather team. I’m excited to be headed home to work for the station I grew up watching!”
Following the announcement, the meteorologist’s fans and followers congratulated him. Some of his fans also said they will is him in Harrisburg, but they are glad.
“Congratulations!! I feel so happy for you! Although I was only there for a brief period, working with you made the trip that much more enjoyable,” said Bobby Laurie, ABC27 show The Jet Set TV host.
While congratulating Adis, another ABC27 News official, Denni J. Butherbaugh, said, “It will be easier for you to go and see Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins.”

Adis Juklo Hails From Pittsburgh
Adis Juklo comes from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. When Juklo was in the 5th grade, a thunderstorm caused massive damage to his childhood neighborhood.
Adis became more interested in the weather from then. He grew fascinated by thunderstorms, subsequent winter storms, and all the many types of weather that are associated with Pennsylvania after witnessing the actual power of nature.
As a high school student, Adis was significantly involved in the TV production studio at his high school, which provided him his first exposure to on-air forecasting, which he carried on until his senior year. When there was a potential for a snow day, he was always the one that his peers went to.
After high school graduation, Juklo went to Penn State University and graduated with a degree in Meteorology in May 2018.
While attending Penn State gained more expertise in forecasting and broadcasting. After his sophomore year, he interned at the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, and before his senior year.
He also served as an intern at WTOV-TV in Steubenville, Ohio. This internship soon led to a temporary meteorology job, which Adis had until his senior year.
