Yes, Miles Bryant is taken into custody and serving his time in jail, according to the police.
Bryant was fired from the Doraville Police Department, where he had been working without any disciplinary issues.
The news was confirmed by the department’s spokesperson, Emily Heenan. The former Georgia Police officer was detained for suppressing the ***** of a 16-year-old teenager named Susana Morales.
Bryant, who started working in law enforcement in March 2020 with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, left his position to join the Doraville police in May 2021.
According to the Peace Officer Standards and Training Council’s records, he was not subject to any sanctions or disciplinary actions.
However, he was recently served felony arrest warrants by the Gwinnett Police Department in connection with the disappearance and ****** of Morales.

Miles Bryant Is Accused Of Hiding Susana Morales *****
Miles Bryant, 22, was detained on Monday on charges of falsely reporting a crime and concealing the ***** of Susana Morales.
He has been connected to Morales’ *****, discovered in the woods close to Dacula on February 6.
Previously, on suspicion of concealing the ***** of a 16-year-old Gwinnett County girl, whose body was discovered last week, six months after she went missing, a Doraville police officer has been detained.
In an interview with Channel 2 Action News, Susana’s sister Jasmine said she was shocked and had to process it for a second.
She added that the family knew something; however, they were still hoping, and now they will finally have the closure and justice that Susana deserves.
Police did not specify how Bryant was allegedly related to Morales’ *****, and the cause of ***** is still under investigation.

More On Susana Morales Disappearance And *****
Morales’ family reported to the police that they hadn’t seen her since the evening of July 26.
Susana texted her mother the same night at 9:40 pm, informing her that she was on her way home.
According to officials, the GPS data from Morales’ cell phone indicated that she was walking in the direction of her home between 10:07 pm and 10:21 pm. Still, detectives believe she may have gotten into a vehicle during that time.
From 10:21 pm to 10:26 pm, her phone pinged in the area of Oak Loch Trace and Steve Reynolds Boulevard.
Morales’s phone continued to ping at that location until it either died or was turned off. Despite her supposed journey, Morales never arrived home.
On February 6, a passerby reported seeing what appeared to be human remains in the forested area between Drowning Creek and Barrow County.
Officials from the Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s office tested the remains and confirmed that the DNA matched Morales’ dental records, indicating that she was deceased.
