20. McLaren Elva

At the economic end of our list, we have the McLaren Elva. It is a mid-engine sports car and is a limited production.

McLaren Automotives manufactured the car. McLaren Elva is assembled in England. It has dihedral ( commonly known as butterfly doors) doors.

The Elva is inspired by the open racer cars developed by Bruce McLaren in the 1960s.

The two-door speedster is claimed to be the lightest sports car produced until now by McLaren Automotive. Its production was limited to 249 units in 2020.

It uses the 4.0 L M840TR engine and can go up to the top speed of 326 km/h.

The McLaren Elva will cost you a mountainous $1.7 million.

19. Ferrari Monza

If you are looking for another car in the same range, this might be the car for you. The Ferrari Monza was produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari in 2019.

The Ferrari styling center was designed by an Italian architect and automobile designer, Flavio Monzon.

The sportscar is assembled in Maranello, Italy.

This two-door speedster uses the 6.5 L F140 GC V12 engine and a 7- speed dual-clutch. It can go to a top speed of 299 km/h.

Monza features carbon fiber composite bodywork and weighs about 1,500 kgs.

The Ferrari Monza is priced at $1.7 million.

18. Bentley Bacalar

Also called Bentley Mulliner Bacalar, this car is a luxury spider. It is built by British car manufacturer Bentley and assembled in Crewe, England.

The two-door convertible was produced in 2020.

The Bacalar is inspired by the Bentley EXP 100 GT concept car presented in 2019.

It uses the Audi W12 6.0 engine and can go up to 318 km/h.

One unit of this luxurious spider will cost $1.9 million.

17. Pininfarina Battista

For number 17, we have the Pininfarina Battista. The name Battista was kept as a tribute to Pinnifarina’s founder Battista Pininfarina. The car was introduced in 2020.

Also called PFO, the German company Automobili Pininfarina manufactures this car. Only 150 units of this car are planned to be produced.

The 2-door coupe is assembled in Cambiano, Italy, and Sveta Nedelija, Croatia. Luca Borgogno designs it at Pininfarina.

This electric sports cat uses four liquid-cooled permanent magnet synchronous electric motors placed at each wheel.

It has a top speed of 350 km/h. 

The price of the Pininfarina Battista is $2.5 million.

16. Mercedes- AMG Project One

The Mercedes -AMG Project One is manufactured by Mercedes-Benz. It was first introduced in 2017 and is confined to be delivered in 2021 with limited production of 25 units, all of which have already been booked.

It was announced at the 2017 international motor show, Germany, by Mercedes Benz Dieter Zetsche and Formula one driver Sir Lewis Hamilton.

The AMG is assembled in Germany and UK. It was designed by Gorden Wagener and Hartmut Sinkwitz. The 2-door coupe sports car has mid-engine and butterfly doors.

It uses the 1.6 L Mercedes Benz PUI106C Hybrid E-turbo V6 engine and has an 8-speed single-clutch. The AMG has a top speed of 350 km/h.

The AMG project one is priced at $2.7 million.

15. Aston Martin Victor

If you think the AMG was expensive, you will be shocked at how much the Aston Martin victor costs! This sports car is a 2-door coupe with swan doors and carbon architecture. 

English company Aston Martin Lagonda Limited manufactures the Victor.

It was produced in 2020, and only one unit of this car has come out of the assembly line which makes it ultra rare.

Victor is assembled in Gaydon, Warwickshire, in the UK. It is based on the one-77 by Aston Martin.

The 6-speed Graziano features a clutchless manual transmission and weighs around 1,630 kgs.

This flagship hybrid sports car uses the V12 7.3L motor. Its top speed is estimated to be 350 km/h.

The only unit of Astin Martin Victor was priced at $3.0 million.

14. Bugatti Bolide

On number 14, we have a track-focused hypercar, the Bugatti Bolide. It is manufactured by French company Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. in Molsheim, France.

The Bolide features a mid-engine and an all-wheel-drive layout. 

Its curb weight is 1,240 kgs. Bolide uses the 8.0 L quad-turbocharged W16 engine and has a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Bugatti Bolide will cost around $3,0 million.

13. Aston Martin Valkyrie

Exclusive and expensive, the Aston Martin Valkyrie is also known by its code name AM-RB001 or Nebula. It is manufactured by Aston Martin Lagonda plc and was modeled in 2021.

However, the car was already conceptualized in 2016, and its prototype came out in 2017.

It is designed by British Formula One engineer Adrian Newey and Miles Nurnberger.

The Nebula is assembled in Gaydon, Warwickshire, and only 150 units are expected to be produced.

It features coupe and spider body designs with gull-wing ( falcon-win/up-door) and butterfly doors.

The car has a rear mid-engine and a rear-wheel-drive layout. It uses the engine 6.5L Aston Martin Cosworth naturally aspired V12. It can go to the top speed of 350 km/h.

The price of Aston Martin Valkrie is $3.2 million.

12. W. Motors Lykan HyperSport

Next up, we have a Lebanese sports car manufactures by Emirati sports car company W Motors. It was produced from 2013 to 2017. The car is assembled in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

It is designed by Lebanese automotive entrepreneurs Ralph Debbas, Anthony Jannarely, and Benoit Fraylon.

The production of Hypersport was limited to 7 units.

This car has a rear mid-engine. It has a 3.7 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, a 6- speed sequential manual transmission, and a 7- speed dual-clutch. It has a top speed of 395 km/hour.

This car is priced at $3.4 million.

11. Pagani Huarya Roadster BC

In the eleventh position, we have the Pagani Huarya Roadster BC. It is manufactured by an Italian company known as Pagani Automobili. Top Gear Magazine named it The hypercar of the year 2012.

The car was produced in 2012. Only 100 units of it were produced, which were sold out by February 2015. The Huarya is assembled in San Cesario Sul Panaro, Italy.

The car was designed by Horacio Pagani, who is also the founder of Pagani Automobili.

The two-door coupe and roadster have gull-wing and swan doors. This car has been released in different editions such as Carbon Edition, White Edition, and La Monza Lisa.

10. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport

Entering our top 10, we have a french sports car. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles in Molsheim, France.

The production of the car started in 2016. It is designed by Achim Anrcheidt, Frank Heyl, Sasha Selipanov and Etienne Salome.

The Chiron has a carbon fiber body and an all-wheel-drive system.

The mid-engine car uses the 8.0 L quad-turbocharged W16 engine and as a 7-speed dual-clutch. It can travel to the top speed of 420 km/hr.

One unit of the Chiron Pur Sport is priced at $3.6 million.

9. Lamborghini Sian

Another expensive hypercar on our list is the first hybrid car produced by the Italian manufacturer Lamborghini. The Lamborghini Sian is assembled in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

Mitja Borkert designed the car in 2019. It was a limited production with only 62 units being made. So, if you are buying the Sian, you should probably hurry up; because 19 units of the car have already been sold.

The Sian is a mid-engine car with a 7-speed automated manual transmission. It uses the 6.5L L539 V12 engine. The car has a top speed of 350 km/h.

The Sian has a price of $3.6 million.

8. Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+

Next up, we have a car developed in Germany by Bugatti Automobiles. Presented in 2016, the Bugatti Chiton Sport 300 + is assembled in Molsheim, France.

It was designed by Achim Andcheidt, Frank Heyl, Sasha Selipanov and Etienne Salome.

Out of 500 cars, 300 cars of this model have already been sold out. The car has a top speed of 482.80 km/h. It holds the record for the first-ever hyper sports car to exceed this speed record.

The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ is priced at $ 3.9 million.

7. Lamborghini Veneno

For number seven, we have the Lamborghini Veneno. It is manufactured by Lamborghini and is assembled in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy.

The limited-edition sports car’s coupe version was produced in five units, and only nine roadster units were produced.

The Veneno was constructed to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary. It is designed by Filippo Perini and Michele Tinazzo and was sold from 2013-2019.

6. Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita

Next up, we have the Koenisegg CCXR Trevita. Produced by Swedish manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive AB and assembled in Angelholm, Sweden.

The mid-engine sports car is designed by the CEO of Koenigsegg Automotive, Christian Ron Koenigsegg, David Crawford, and Seven-Harry Akesson.

It has a curb weight of 1,456 kg. The CCXR was produced between 2006-2010 and had a total production of 49 units.

It uses the 4.7 L Koenisegg twin-supercharged V8 engine and a 6-speed manual and sequential transmission. It has a top speed of 395 km/hr.

5. Bugatti Divo

For number 5, we have the Bugatti Divo. It was named after French racing driver Albert Divo, who raced for Bugatti in the 1920s.

The Divo is a limited edition car with only 40 units being produced. Achim Anscheidt and Frank Heyl designed the car in 2019.

4. Mercedes Maybach Exelero

Next up on our list, we have the Maybach Exelero. It is a one-off high-performance sports car manufactured by Stola in collaboration with Daimler Chrysler.

Another expensive car on our list, we have the Bugatti Centodieci. This Italian car is manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles and is assembled in Molsheim, France.

It was designed exclusively by Achim Anscheidt and was produced in 2020.

The 2-door coupe is produced in limited edition with only 10 units being made. The car was manufactured to celebrate Bugatti marque’s 110th anniversary.

The Centodieci has a curb weight of 1,976 kgs.

It uses the 8.0 L quad-turbocharged W16 engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.  The car can travel at the top speed of 380km/h.

2. Bugatti La Voiture Noire

At the second position, we have The Bugatti La Voiture Noire developed in Germany. This limited edition car is manufactured by Bugatti automobiles and assembled in Molsheim, France.

Only 10 units of the car are to be made in total. It was designed by Achim Anscheidt, Frank Heyl, Sasha Selipanov,and Etienne Salome in 2016.

The Voiture Noire is named after the Monegasque driver Louis Chiron. He is the oldest driver to have finished formula one. The car has a curb weight of 1,978. 

The mid-engine car uses the 8.0 L quad-turbocharged W16 engine and a 7-speed dual-clutch plus automatic transmission. It can run to the top speed of 431.07 km/hr.

The Bugatti La Voiture Noire is priced at an extravagant $18.7 million.

1. Rolls-Royce Boat Tail

This is the most expensive car! and no, it is not a sports car; it is a mid-sized luxury coach-built grand tourer car made by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.

It is the world’s most expensive street-legal new car in 2021.

This car is assembled in the Goodwood plant, West Sussex, England. It is a Coach built Cabriolet with a Wraith platform.

The Boat Tail is inspired by the yachts of the 1920s and 193os.

The car has a special feature of matching pairs of men’s and women’s watches manufactured by Bovet Fleurier.

It includes a tiny sculpture of the car on the dial.

They can be worn as a wristwatch or used as a desk clock or pocket watch and can also be stored in a titanium enclosure on the car’s dashboard to be used as its clock.
