While looking into a car in the water, officers discovered the body.
Several parking lots and piers are near the water, and a grassy park separates the beach from West Shore Road. The Police did not disclose the fatal collision’s triggers.
The Port Washington Fire Department found the 54-year-old man’s body in the water and removed it. At 3:49 pm, he was pronounced dead. The Police withheld the name of the man.

Bar Beach Port Washington: What Happened?
The North Hempstead town supervisor said that a male body was found after a car crashed into a boat ramp at Bar Beach in Port Washington.
According to authorities, a BMW SUV at Bar Beach in Port Washington was driven down a boat ramp and into the water, killing a 54-year-old man. On Wednesday, the incident took place around 3:30 pm.
According to the authorities, the victim’s body was discovered floating in the water, and it was too late to save the driver when rescuers arrived.

Nearby Fire departments dispatched divers and a drone response team. Hours were spent by numerous boats looking for the submerged car before it was finally pulled out and towed away.
A woman who witnessed tha accident stated that Parks were busy in warm February and she saw the responders who tried to save the vitim.
Bar Beach Port Accident Update: Has The Identity Been Disclosed?
The death of a man, whose body was discovered in the water at North Hempstead Bar Beach in Port Washington on Wednesday afternoon, is being looked into by Nassau County Police.
According to the Homicide Squad detectives, a witness called the Police at 3:10 pm after seeing a white object floating in the water at 175 Roslyn West Shore Road.
The Nassau County Emergency Service Unit had pulled a 2023 BMW X3 SUV out of the water, according to the Police. As the investigation goes on, the death has been labeled as undetermined.
