As the third presidential hopeful to throw his hat into the ring, Mr. Ng joins Former Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam and businessman George Goh in the race. President Halimah Yacob’s six-year term is set to expire on September 13, and she has already announced that she will not seek re-election.
