Nicole Seah Scandal: Workers Party Video Viral
The Workers’ Party (WP) is investigating a video spreading on social media, showing what they call an “inappropriate exchange” between two of their senior members.
The party made this known in a statement on Monday (July 17). Even though the statement doesn’t mention the members’ names involved, a video was shared on Facebook by someone named “Victoria Wang” on Monday and has been widely shared.
The video shows Mr. Leon Perera, who is a WP MP for Aljunied Group Representation Constituency, and Ms. Nicole Seah, the leader of the party’s youth wing, sitting together at a table with candles and glasses of what looks like wine while holding hands and having a conversation.
Similarly, the video has been circulating widely since then. On the other hand, the party is investigating the situation and will provide a statement once they have all the information,” said the WP statement. “The Party also expects all its members to take responsibility for their action.”
The WP has said they know about the video but have yet to say who the people in it are official.
Nicole Seah Husband: Is She Married?
Nicole Seah married Bryan, a Singaporean engineer living in Australia, in August 2015.
They had a daughter in 2018 and then another daughter in 2022. Seah has said that she is very grateful to be a mother and that her daughters are her greatest joy.
Back on November 27, 2013, the AsiaOne news site and Lianhe Wanbao newspaper apologized to Seah because they wrongly suggested that she was dating a married man.
They were referring to Steven Goh, the founder of the social site mig33, who was divorced then. Seah mentioned on Facebook that she threatened to take legal action against them.
Due to the situation, her boyfriend distanced himself from her because he was worried about his reputation. As a result, Seah and Goh broke up.
Seah shared in an interview with Her World that instead of supporting her during that difficult time, her boyfriend left her to handle everything alone.
But she decided not to suffer in silence anymore, ending the eight-month relationship.

Nicole Seah’s parents are Leonard Seah and Patricia Lim.
Her father, Leonard Seah, used to work as a civil servant before retiring, while her mother, Patricia Lim, is a housewife. They both show strong support for their daughter’s career in politics.
During an interview with Her World magazine, Nicole Seah mentioned that her parents have always been her biggest supporters.
They have continuously encouraged her to pursue her dreams and stood by her side through thick and thin.
