Nicolle Wallace was born in Orange County, California, on February 4, 1972. She is the eldest of four children of Veronica and Clive Devenish.

Her mother was a teacher’s assistant for third grade in public schools, and her father was an antiques dealer.

Wallace has a mixed ethnicity of English and Greek. Her paternal grandfather, Thomas Devenish, was born in England to vaudevillian parents and immigrated to the United States with his family in 1947.
