Born Oliver George Arthur Watkins, Ollie Watkins is a native of Torquay, Devon, England. His parents – Delsi-May and Steven Watkins – welcomed him on 30 December 1995.
Ollie Watkins’s parents divorced when the forward was still young. His mother, Delsi, alone raised the soccer player and his siblings. Watkins has three brothers, Richie, Dale, and Jordan, and a sister, Charlotte.
In an interview with The Times in 2021, the forward’s mom disclosed that balancing her job and Watkins’ training at Exeter’s academy was sometimes complicated.
The soccer player’s mom used to drive Watkins to the academy and rush back to her job. But all of her efforts paid off. The forward’s mother is immensely proud of his accomplishments.
The proud mother also disclosed that young Ollie Watkins never wavered from saying that he wanted to become a professional footballer.
“He used to skateboard occasionally, but it didn’t last long. He used to BMX, but that also didn’t last long, said Ollie’s mom.

The Ashton Villa forward’s mother is a professional singer. Delsi-May is best known by her stage name Ruby Washington. As a single parent to four kids, Delsi-May used to take her children to her shows.
Ollie Watkins’ mother, Delsi’s band, The Superstitions, was a famous choice for weddings and other occasions around the South West before the Covid pandemic.
Delsi-May has been singing professionally for a long time. She disclosed in the same interview that she got an opportunity to record when she was young.
