Masour Ousmane Dembélé was born in Vernon, Eure, Normandy, France, to his parents, Fatimata and Ousmane Dembele Sr.
Dembele is of mixed ethnicity with his Mauritanian-Senegalese mother from Waly Diantang and Malian Father.
His parents were migrants from Mauritania in West Africa who relocated to France hoping for a better living.
Not much is known about his dad, but his mom was instrumental in guiding him into his career. Just like his France colleague Paul Pogba, Dembele is centered around his mom.
