Pablo Escobar Autopsy And Death Photos, How Did He Die?

Following Pablo Escobar’s demise at the age of 44, an autopsy revealed the fatal gunshot wounds that brought an end to the notorious drug lord’s chaotic life.

Pablo Escobar was an infamous Colombian drug lord who founded and led the MedellĂn drug cartel.

Known as the “king of cocaine,” he was one of the wealthiest criminals ever, amassing an estimated $70 billion fortune through his control of the cocaine trade into the United States in the 1980s and early 1990s.

Born in Rionegro, Colombia, and raised in MedellĂn, Escobar got involved in criminal activities like selling illegal cigarettes and stealing cars before entering the drug world in the early 1970s.

His cartel came to monopolise cocaine trafficking in the U.S., while Escobar ordered violence and terrorist activities to expand his influence.

Although he was a brief politician, he was killed in 1993 after terrorising Colombia as a narcoterrorist for decades.

Escobar was legendary for both his extreme wealth and cruelty before his death at 44 years old.

Pablo Escobar has gone down in history as one of the most infamously ruthless and excessively wealthy criminals of all time.

Even many years after his death in 1993 at age 44, Pablo remains a famous and intriguing figure.

As the leader of the Medellin drug cartel, he caused immense violence and chaos at his peak.

He also made an unbelievable personal fortune of about $70 billion from the cocaine trade, making him one of the richest people in the world at that time.

His larger-than-life persona continues to capture public interest and attention decades later.

The larger-than-life Escobar met his end in equally dramatic fashion in a shootout on the rooftops of MedellĂn.

His autopsy detailed multiple gunshots scattered around his torso, head, and legs when he was gunned down.

However, some rumours said that the very self-centred Escobar actually committed suicide when he knew there was no way out.

According to these rumours, he used one of the many guns he always carried to shoot himself, avoiding the shame of being killed or caught alive.

The famous cocaine king and Colombia’s most notorious criminal died that day. After his death, the huge MedellĂn drug cartel he had carefully built quickly fell apart.

But Escobar’s legacy of fear and violence has endured in Colombia’s history. The mix of mystery, cunning, and viciousness that surrounded Pablo still grips the public’s interest.

Pablo Escobar Cause Of Death: How Did He Die?

The Colombian police threatened Escobar, the U.S. government, and his rival Cali Cartel.

On December 2, 1993, Colombian special forces, using American technology, found Escobar hiding in a middle-class Medellin home.

When they tried to arrest him, a shootout started. Escobar tried fleeing across the rooftops but was shot multiple times, including a fatal bullet to the head.

Also, this sparked debate on whether he was killed or committed suicide.

After Escobar died, the Medellin Cartel crumbled, and the Cali Cartel dominated cocaine trading until the mid-1990s, when leaders were killed or jailed.

Many of Medellin’s poor, whom Escobar had helped when alive, grieved his death; over 25,000 attended his funeral.

Some saw him as a saint and prayed to him. The heroic image he cultivated remained powerful in Medellin. Escobar was buried in Monte Sacro Cemetery after his dramatic death at age 44.
