In a subsequent statement, Paul said, “I think God has a sense of humor with me, and I suppose in the mornings the Virgin Mary goes in and asks, “What’s up with you,” and he’s lying on the bed and says, “I’m fed up,” to which she replies, “I know, let’s bother Paul O’Grady.”
