According to an obituary published last year, Brad Snitker passed away on 15 July 2022 at his home in rural Waukon. His funeral service was held on 23 July at Salem United Church of Christ.

Who Was Brad Snitker?
Born Gaylen Bradley Snitker, Brad Snitker was a valuable Waukon, Postville, Iowa member. He was born on 9 April 1960 to his parents, Howard and Viola Snitker.
The late Waukon native was a devout follower of Christianity. He was baptized and confirmed at Salem United Church of Christ in rural Waukon. Moreover, Mr. Snitker attended Waukon High School and graduated in 1978.
As for his profession, Brad worked with his father and brother in Ludlow Township. The trio milked cows and raised hogs, beef cows, and crops.
Besides farming, Mr. Snitker worked at Yellowstone National Park, and then at ski resorts in Keystone and Vail, CO. Brad was an adventurer who loved to ski and could either ski or take the gondola to work.
Gaylen was also a beloved member of Salem United Church of Christ. He loved music and had a great singing voice. As a result, he sang in a choir.
Furthermore, according to his obituary, he enjoyed traveling, especially with his cousin Carol. They had many trips, with skiing at Whistler in Canada and Switzerland being one of the most memorable ones.
Brad was a family man. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends and was incredibly proud of his niece and nephews.
Snitker left behind his siblings: Allan “Greg” Snitker of Postville, IA, and Glenda Green of Hampton, IA, and a bunch of nephew nieces. His parents died before him.
