When the Commonwealth Youth Games were held in Nassau in 2017, Quah came away with five gold medals and one silver. The swimmer also took home five gold medals from the 2017 SEA Games in the same year.

Quah Ting Wen Siblings: Meet Her Younger Brother Quah Zheng Wen

Quah Zheng Wen is another Quah Ting Wen sibling who is the middle child in the family. Quah Ting Wen is his elder sister, and Quah Jing Wen is his younger sister.

Singaporean professional swimmer Quah Zheng Wen OLY is a standout in the individual medley, backstroke, butterfly, and freestyle events.

The athlete completed his IB Diploma at the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) with 43 out of a possible 45 points.

The professional swimmer was admitted into the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at the National University of Singapore after completing his IB Diploma Program, but he decided to postpone his studies.

In the 200-meter individual medley, Wen established a national record in June 2012. In the men’s 400-meter individual medley preliminaries at the 2012 Summer Olympics, he came in 33rd overall and missed the final.

Quah carried the flag for Singapore during the 2013 Asian Youth Games. He earned three gold medals and one silver medal in the 200 m backstroke, 200 m butterfly, 200 m individual medley, and 200 m freestyle events.

The sportsman had a personal best time in the 200-meter butterfly heats at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. He was the first man from Singapore to earn a spot in the Olympic swimming semifinals.

It is amazing to know that swimming runs in the blood of the Wen family, as Quah Ting Wen and her two siblings are all professional swimmers and have received many awards and medals from swimming events.
