Karen Lumley’s husband, Richard Lumley, is a geologist. The couple married in 1984 and had been together for 39 years until Richard’s wife passed away recently.
Richard is an Operations Geologist currently working at RKL Geological Services, a geological services company located in Redditch, England, United Kingdom.
Before his position at RKL Geological Services, Richard worked as a Contract Operations Geologist at INEOS Breagh, also based in London.
He worked at the INEOS Breagh for a duration of six years and four months, starting in February 2017.
Together, Karen and Richard had two children; a daughter named Lizzie and a son named Chris.
In the wake of Karen’s passing, an emotional Ms. Mordaunt expressed her sorrow to fellow Members of Parliament, stating that Karen was a remarkable person.
In addition, Mordaunt remembered her for her positive presence, happy aura, and unique hairstyles.
Ms. Mordaunt conveyed the House’s sympathy, extending love to Karen’s family and everyone close to her.
