Richard Marlow was a young boy from Canada whose name came into media prominence after going missing on July 18, 1944. It’s been over seven decades since the boy vanished, but he has not been found yet.

Furthermore, Marlow was described as having a small stature for his age, standing at 3 feet 8 inches. Also, he was recognized by his nickname Pee Wee.

Regarding his appearance, Marlow had blond hair, blue eyes, and even a scar at the edge of his hair on the temple. 

At the time of his vanishment, he was wearing a dark blue windbreaker, long blue pants, a striped jersey, and gray cotton socks with a yellow band on top.

A Glance At Richard Marlow Missing Case

As stated earlier, Richard Marlow was nine years old at the time of his vanishment. He went missing on July 18, 1944, without a trace near his Beta Street home in Etobicoke, Toronto, Ontario. 

It has been said that Richard was last seen riding his older sister’s bicycle up and down the street, and the bike was left in the yard.

A few family members were at the movies on the evening of Richard’s missing. The missing boy had been the night before, so he stayed with one of his younger brothers.

Before his disappearance, Marlow’s brother was inside the home, watching him. However, he did not witness Richard’s disappearance or abduction.

After that, the Marlow family called the police, and a massive search started, but they never found the child.

Who Was Richard Marlow? Meet His Parents

Richard Marlow was a young boy from Canada born to his parents, John and Gertrude Marlow, on February 9, 1935.

Furthermore, Marlow was not the only child of his parents as he was raised with his four siblings, a younger sister, a younger brother, and two older brothers.

Not to mention, Richard’s father, John, was serving in the military out of town by 1944 while two of his older brothers were fighting for the Allies in Belgium.

Ten years after her son disappeared, the pain of losing him weighed heavily on his mother, Gertrude. Gertrude sadly passed away in 1954 at the age of 56.

Likewise, the Marlow family faced another tragic moment when John died in 1973 at age 80. Moreover, Richard’s family still hopes he will be found safe one day.
