Roberto was raised close to the Estadio Rei Pele while growing up in Alagoas’s Trapiche da Barra neighborhood.

Roberto’s parents had to work hard to keep him from negative influences because they lived in a rundown town surrounded by criminal groups.

When his mother let him leave the House, Roberto wasn’t old enough to handle himself. So, Firmino worked alongside his Father in their water bottle sales business.

The family’s sole source of income took a lot of work for them to maintain a good standard of living on that meager sum.

Firmino Was Interested In Football From A Very Young Age

Since he was six years old, Roberto had become a sports addict. Roberto only wanted to play football and showed little interest in the family business.

So, his parents would watch him, but he would always find a way to escape. “Roberto would wake up earlier than everyone else and sneak out without making a peep,” his mother recalled.

Roberto’s parents only let him play football outside once his neighbors praised him for his skills.

The family began to believe that Roberto would be the one to make his family’s lives better, as everyone in the neighborhood was in awe of him.

At thirteen, he enrolled in Clube de Regatas Brasil’s youth program, where he learned all the fundamentals of playing professional football.

He was invited to play for the Brazilian football team “Figueirense” after being seen by a dentist in his late teens, and this marked the start of a new phase in Firmino’s life.

Roberto Firmino has decided to leave Liverpool after appearing in 360 games and winning seven awards, including the Premier League and Champions League.

He has been at Anfield for almost eight years, significantly aiding the team’s success.

At the end of the current Campaign, Firmino’s contract with Liverpool is scheduled to expire, signaling the end of his time with the Reds.
