On May 10, 2023, Harris passed away at his Bray home at the age of 93. His passing wasn’t announced to the media until May 23, when officials from the registration office of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead did so.
According to his death certificate, Harris passed away from neck cancer and the frailty of old age.
