The Washington County Attorney’s Office in Utah has reported that Franke has been charged with six counts of aggravated child abuse.
Not to mention, she and her business partner, Jodi Hildebrandt, were arrested last week after Ruby’s malnourished son ran to a neighbor’s house asking for help.
The attorney’s office says Ruby and Jodi each face six counts, which carry a potential prison sentence of one to 15 years in prison and a penalty of up to $10,000.

Ruby Franke Arrest Details: What Did She Do?
On August 30, 2023, Fox13 reported that Ruby Franke was arrested, along with Jodi Hildebrandt, for two counts of aggravated child abuse.
Reportedly, Franke’s son climbed out a window at Hildebrandt’s home and went to a neighbor’s house asking for food and water. The child reportedly had duct tape on his ankles and wrists and open wounds.
Following that, the neighbor went on to call the police, who soon found Franke’s daughter in the same house. It has been said that she was also malnourished.
Both children were taken to a hospital. Furthermore, all the kids of Franke named Shari, Chad, Abby, and Julie were taken by the Utah Division of Child and Family Services.
