The gunman shot and killed three people on Saturday afternoon. He was armed with an AR-15-style rifle and Glock handgun and was also sporting a tactical vest and face mask.

Furthermore, Ryan fired 11 rounds into a car in the store’s parking lot, killing his first victim, Angela Michelle Carr. The two shooting victims were AJ Laguerre and Jerrald Gallion.

A report by the Daily Beast has shown that Palmeter was involuntarily held in a mental health facility in 2017. There was no criminal arrest history of Ryan.

Meanwhile, Palmeter was held under the Baker Act six years ago, a Florida law allowing a person to be held involuntarily for up to 72 hours for examination if authorities suspect someone has a severe mental illness and shows a quick danger to themselves or others.

Ryan Palmeter was the shooting suspect who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Authorities say Ryan left behind several manifestos for the media, his parents and law enforcement describing his hatred for black people.

Furthermore, Ryan left a will and a suicide note that were retrieved by his dad.

Ryan had left messages for his parents, the media and federal law enforcement officials who described racial hatred.

In the past, he was involved in an issue. His parents called police in 2016 to report a domestic disturbance. The incident happened between Ryan and his brother James.

James is currently serving a prison sentence for a 2017 armed robbery. There are not many details about the Palmeter brothers, but it has been noted that Ryan was not arrested.
